The base belt of sidewall conveyor belt is different from the base belt of ordinary ones. It requests the belt be soft in warp direction, but firm and unbending in weft direction. The domestic manufacturers mostly take the ordinary rubber belt as the belt of sidewall belt. In this case, the base belt becomes up-bowed at the deflection wheel when moving upward. When moving downward, especially in horizontal section, the base belt can form a "U" shape. No matter up-bowed or down-bowed, it will result in sidewall's and partition boards' wearing and tearing, striking and falling-off.
